Up this week, we have a super technical course, with rock-drops and stairs, and a fair amount of climbing. The course looks something like this:
We'll also have prizes from EVOL, PharmacaLife and GoodBelly Drinks, so bring your A-game, even if you're racing C's!
The other big announcement is that Boulder Mountain Bike Alliance is doing a trail work day at Valmont, Thursday evening. The short track series has seen unprecedented race numbers, which has been awesome! We love that so many people show up to race and enjoy the park. Of course, having so many racers does put the trails under some extra stress.
So please come out Thursday to help out for a bit. Tools will be provided, so just bring some work gloves. Sign up to volunteer here.
Thanks, and see you Wednesday and Thursday!

I was hoping yesterdays technical course would be a bit more technical. When are we going to get to ride the slopestyle or rock gardens? All the rock sections on the glades would be fun. Forced rock garden just before the start finish would be awesome.
Unfortunately, Dave, our deal this year with Parks and Rec prohibits our race from using the slopestyle or dirt jumps. We do have one guy who is looking into a chainless pumptrack race at some point, though not a part of our short track series this summer.
